I won't lie, it was a bit of a slow read for me in the beginning. I think partially because their was a lot of violence that was more of a personal problem for me rather than the books fault and it was also a bit slow at some points. But in the last 150 pages or so, the book picked up and made it worth the read, I truly enjoyed it. Though every time I read about Loki, I curse myself more for ever liking him in the first book. I despise Loki now, he acts as if he cares for Samirah and Alex, speaking to them kindly, but then trys to stop their hearts? Absolutely disgusting. I hope to find Loki gets the fate he deserves in the next book. Overall a good read, some slow scenes but Alex Fierro was a good addition to the cast of characters.
