it started out really good and it was funny and true and so unapologetically black but for me I just felt like certain things were dragging on and I was just beginning to lose interest and while I did like the two main characters I wasn’t obsessed with them and I feel like they didn’t have as much chemistry as I initially thought they did and I just wasn’t invested sadly
and I realize that this is a series and it’s like book 7 in the series but it’s my first book in the series and so there’s like a whole world and it was easy to get up to speed but it was just kind of annoying how they were obviously characters that were important in their own way and I just really wanted to know more about them and I wasn’t interested in this book as much
