Green Lantern: Rise of the Third Army by Doug Mahnke, Peter J. Tomasi, Fernando Pasarín, Geoff Johns, Peter Milligan, Miguel Sepúlveda, Tony Bedard, Aaron Kuder

3.0

The problem with the New 52 is that it has rebooted too much, that in reading "Rise of the Third Army," a lot of background information is necessary.

Nevertheless, "Rise" does not disappoint (as I see it). I like the way Kyle Rayner takes the center stage, Ganthet being a Guardian through and through, Guy Gardner out of the Corps, and the Hal Jordan-Sinestro team up that everyone dreams of (outside "Blackest Night" of course). It was really an entertaining treat, and with Simon Baz as the new Green Lantern, things are going to be interesting for the franchise.
