Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll

Finished this book in 3 days - I just couldn't put it down. The author's prose is so stylistic yet extremely intelligent, which lends itself to Ani's writing career (making it that much more believable). Getting to know Ani was like an onion, and I don't think I even liked her at first. But after learning her tragic story, I was definitely rooting for this main character to defy the odds in the end.

(Wayyyy better than the movie.)
