When Nina’s husband Jake goes missing, she thinks it’s because they had a fight. When Lily has to escape Jake, she and her husband think she may be why he’s missing. And the drama continues. Lily and Christian have to protect her pregnancy. Nina begins suspect her friends had something to do with it. Everyone feels like they can’t trust anyone

Despite the very conflicted reviews, I thought this was a solid thriller (I’d give it a 3.75). If I’m being honest, I was convinced Jake wasn’t even dead, and I had about 8 theories at any given time. I didn’t figure out the big twist until only a few pages before it was revealed…I love when that happens! It’s safe to say that even when you think you know someone and who you can trust, life will always throw you surprises…and for all that’s murdery in the world, if you’re going to be involved in a crime, learn to cover your tracks better…
