This is my first book by Elle Kennedy, and although this is technically part of a series, it was also fine as a standalone! This was a nice beach read. I really liked Cassie and Tate both as a couple and individually. I like how even though Cassie is sweet she isn’t naive. And Tate isn’t all bad boy, he’s actually so sweet and caring. There was a good amount of spice but it wasn’t so much that it took over the story.
