The Best Lies by Sarah Lyu
5.0
Trigger warnings:
This book was so much more than I was anticipating and I am so glad that I dived in.
The Best Lies is a gripping and complicated exploration of toxic relationships. There are huge trigger warnings on this one - Lyu's writing does not shy away from the intense codependency between Remy and Elise.
The entire story is high-strung and tense, with it only becoming more so as the story progresses. But if this is a story you want to dive into you will find some incredible writing and fantastic character development.
This is easily an author I will be picking up again in the future.
