This memoir had so much heart.  The author shares her experience as a queer Muslim who is looking for community when she comes to the U.S. The memoir is vulnerable and I could feel the earnestness of her words and her story. I personally enjoyed the part where she talks about how to pick your battles and learning how to "fight" differently than just arguing with people. She also explains why she writes under a pseudonym and that it gives her the ability to write so candidly about her experiences without putting her life on the line. Highly recommend this one on audio and in print, both worked well for me!
