Consequences of Capitalism: Manufacturing Discontent and Resistance by Marv Waterstone, Noam Chomsky

5.0

Essential reading for movement-builders. It's literally a transcription of college lectures delivered in alternating chapters by Marv Waterstone and Noam Chomsky, with a logical progression from historical analysis and analysis of structural power to lessons from recent decades of struggle that should be beneficial to activists committed to building stronger movements.

One of the frustrations is that there is a lot of "more on that later" - but that's attributable to the fact that this is a transcript of a series of lectures.
