Well, this was definitely a bit better than the previous volume. And as you may guess, it’s because we finally focus back on our happy hungry bunch and their adventures. I mean… it’s also about other things but the point is that we mainly follow our main characters.

We have Hak and Yona going to Awa but Hak decides to stay in the Kin province and helps to defend it and I just want to say that I love how he has Yun go back to Awa on his own and smiles when Yun mentions that he’s a genius pretty boy… it made me smile too. Also the way this man keeps fighting even though he’s really exhausted is just incredible. Anyway, captain Gi-gan instantly decides to help Yun and Hak and that’s just great (also I love how she just throws away Jae-ha’s message). Unfortunately, Hak got swept by the flood and is now missing and I’m losing my mind because of it.

On the other hand we have Yona who’s discussing strategy with Su-won and I just love that scene because it shows that Yona would be a great leader. And then when she hears that Hak is missing… it’s so heartbreaking. I was so proud of her for being strong in front of others and telling them that Hak is gonna be okay but then breaking down in tears in front of Su-won. She’s just great.

Overall, this was a pretty good volume. Not amazing, but it had some amazing moments with our favorite characters. I’m giving it 4 stars and I hope that my boy Hak is alive and well.
