This book gave me the Step up (movie) sorta vibes. <spolier> Ryder came home after an accident, losing half of his leg and saying goodbye to continuing as a dancer. His biggest solace. Ryder knew coming home was hard as he just lost his one of his dream and ends up reconnectin  with his other dream back in town, the only girl he ever loved, Piper!

Piper only loved one boy in her life.  Her brother's best friend since she met Ryder at the warehouse one day. The tattooed walking sin! Ryder became her friend, her dance teacher in her early teens even when she was crushing on him hard. They even shared some stolen kiss until Ryde  moved to LA for a brighter future.

Through the journey of lies and deception Piper and Ryder found the happy ending they deserved.
