The Creation of Anne Boleyn: A New Look at England's Most Notorious Queen by Susan Bordo

3.0

This was an interesting look at Anne Boleyn as a cultural icon, how historians and fiction authors have changed her story to suit their own needs or prejudices. However, I didn't really learn anything new reading this aside from the fact that Natalie Dormer is a far bigger fan of Anne Boleyn than I thought, she was a big reason why the Tudors changed their portrayal of her in the second season. Overall, an interesting read but I wish it had more information about Anne.
