I liked this book more than the first.
We get to experience the relationships between the group more and have a more understanding from each of them.
I love Sunny and Orlu together. I like how its not rushed or forced together since they are still children but its sweet and cute. Respectful.
Sasha and Chichi are hot and cold for me. I like them together but what Chichi did annoyed me for some parts. I didnt get why she did that or why she wanted to see the boys fight for her... idk
There's still a mystery surrounding Chichi since she doesnt really share much from her life but we do get small bits about her that makes you want to learn more. Also, im still trying to figure out how old is she lol like she's keeping that secret very close to herself.
Another relationship I loved is Sasha and Sunny's. Their friendship is like a older brother/little sister. It so cute of how protective he is of her when she gets into trouble or when he's worried about her.

Getting more about Sunny's older brother was good as well. I hope we get more of it in the next book.

The whole battle at the end was better than in the first book. We get more in-depth about the situation since Sunny has been learning more and experience about her magic. Still dont know why she kept to herself about visting one of the gods when she 'died' but I kind of understand why wanting to have that to herself.

cant wait to continue the story..
