The Heroine's Journey by G. Miki Hayden

2.0

First of all, the cover of this book is gorgeous. It's what caught my eye when I requested it, and it stands out in my mind when I think of favorite book covers.

However this book was written in a way that confused me. The main characters names were so similar that I really got mixed up between the two (especially at the beginning before realizing there were two different girls. I honestly thought we were switching to a book involving time travel or alternate dimensions or something).

It was very well written but the overall confusion I had while reading it unfortunately made this a difficult one for me to like.

This book was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
