I really wanted to like this but it really started to drag on and I wanted it all to be over :( The incredibly long chapters (12 of them, all roughly an hour long in the audiobook.) also made it so difficult to get through, each part could have easily been broken up into more than 4 chapters.
Rooting for gay people committing crimes becomes less fun when one of them begins to be more interested in becoming a money hungry capitalist and ignores his partner, while the partner fawns over him pathetically begging for each scrap of attention and ignoring his own declining health in the process.
