Another wonderful example of realistic fiction for middle grade!
From the representation of so many different voices (shoutout to the drag queen uncle) to the absolutely delightful concept to the idea of found family, this book is a true winner. It is easy to fall in love with Adela's voice as she navigates learning about her biological dad and how she grapples with her new-found family. I probably could better compile thoughts if I wasn't supposed to be doing my actual job right now, but let's just say I enjoyed it.
