ʚ・nick and charlie: that's it. that's the entire bullet point.
ʚ・attraction: i feel i saw more of nick and charlie's attraction to one another in this, compared to the series; i think in the series it's visible, but it's more so from charlie's perspective. here tho? you totally get why charlie falls for the kind rugby player and why nick falls for the drum-playing nerdy guy. it's adorable 😭
ʚ・easy read: this is such a good pick-me-up when you're in a reading slump. graphic novels, in general, are great for that—they don't require as much effort to comprehend and enjoy as regular novels do ^^
ʚ・ comfort read: i totally see how this could be a comfort series for me, regardless of the fact that i haven't read the rest :)

ʚ・ storyline vs. fluff: the fluff is adorable, don't get me wrong. it does overshadow the storyline a bit, though. for me, it would’ve been perfect if the plot had been more prominent. (this isn't a huge flaw as this is only the first volume in the series!)

i think this is a great read for a teenage/young adult audience. i can totally see how the series could impact and change people—it already has!
