A fast paced spooky YA horror/thriller tale
Similar to the author’s other books, the first scene throws the reader right into the story. I was hooked from the beginning and devoured the book in one sitting. While it definitely had some gory and graphic scenes, overall it wasn’t too anxiety inducing, which I appreciated.
The plot twists were kind of predictable at times but it was still exciting to follow the characters figuring it all out and every now and then you do end up quite shocked, too.
A great book especially for those who want to explore the genre without having to fear losing sleep.
