Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery

emotional hopeful lighthearted reflective medium-paced

This was a beautifully refreshing romp through early adulthood with a character who is very present and aware of the marvellous things around here. Anne doesn’t take anything for granted and manages to attract the most humble and clever characters to her. This book also has numerous proposals, and for those who are waiting for the romance with Gilbert to become more prominent, they won’t be disappointed. Such a great story.
