Great read

I found this book quite unexpected. It has pretty good pacing at the beginning and towards the end though it does have a bit of a saggy middle. The relationships between the four characters are interesting and I like the way Shey is added to the mix.
Stuff I found weird or confusing.
Even though Caelan was repeatedly told that the stones couldn't be moved, he kept referring to them as "falling into the empire hands", as though unable to assimilate the information. Why bring down the lighthouse if even the god said it couldn't be moved
Rayne and Eno moved from zero to 100 with almost no development in between. I wasn't a fan. On the other hand Cael and Drayce there was no development the whole book.
There wasn't much of a clear goal for action besides reaching places. And I found the godlike power nestled beside cell phone communication kinda weird.
I will continue reading at least for now, though I'm not sure I'm up for six books in this series
