Cloud Nineteen by William Stanley

It seems a bit odd to call this one a fun romp through WW1, but at nearly a century's remove, the adventure of an errant signals intelligence officer is a good story. It of course suffers the mark of its time and age in the style and language. This is still a quick read.

I'd recommend this to submariners and historians who need a bit of a break from the musty ancient tomes.
