The Memory of Light by Francisco X. Stork

4.0

If I shelved books by themes or topics, I would put this near [b:Challenger Deep|18075234|Challenger Deep|Neal Shusterman|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1412791447l/18075234._SY75_.jpg|25379189] and [b:All the Bright Places|18460392|All the Bright Places|Jennifer Niven|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1404331702l/18460392._SY75_.jpg|26113532], for being about teens dealing with mental health issues. I liked that the group therapy kids got to know each other and became friends, rather than adversaries who know how to push each others' buttons. That river rafting trip seemed like a bad idea though, but I'm like EM and not comfortable around the water.

You are not your depression.
You are not your thoughts.
Green is the color of life, and it is all around you.
