| Favorite Quote | “I’ve always thought of myself as a problem that deserved to stay hidden. Never quite trusted myself, or what I wanted. Before you, I was all right letting everything happen to me. I honestly have never thought I deserved to choose.” His hand moves, fingertips brushing a curl behind Alex’s ear. “But you treat me like I do.” Pg. 279

| My Review | I had high hopes going into this book, and it blew my expectations out of the water! I got what I hoped for: an exciting enemies-to-lovers gay romance with two main characters I love to bits. What I didn’t expect was a deep, high-stakes, tense and complicated story filled with amazing side characters full of personality and charm. And boy, did they make me laugh! Wowie, this book is incredible.

I love this book so much, I desperately want a sequel to indulge in these characters once again. The hype is real: this book is one to re-read over and over. I look forward to any future books written by McQuiston, our fellow Texan. Cheers!
