Dylan by Karla Sorensen

This is my favorite book by Karla so far!! I was really excited to read this one after reading the blurb and finding out that the heroine was "much too young for him". I like reading characters with an age gap similar to these characters (about 10 years). It kind of has a forbidden/taboo feel to it and I LOVE those books.

Kat was too adorable. She was quirky and constantly made me laugh with her babbling and one-liners. There was an innocence about her that showed her age, but at times she seemed older than her years. Dylan was such a very sweet, a family man, and all-around a great guy. I loved seeing the two interact with each other. Watching the slow burn of a romantic relationship develop between them. That's my favorite kind instead of characters jumping right into bed. Sometimes the sexual tension that builds and builds is even better. I really enjoyed the friends and I'm curious to find out who's book is next. I liked revisiting some of the same characters from Karla's previous books even if it was brief. I think the dog, Leonidas, was my favorite character though. I'm a huge dog lover so I loved it whenever he was around.

I'm really looking forward to the next book Karla writes!!!
