Imposter by Bradeigh Godfrey

This is a debut?! Instense. Uncomfortable. Slow build, and crushing end!
Lillian and Rosie, after years of estrangement, attempt to reconnect. On the way to dinner, they have a horrible accident. Lillian suffers a server concussion. Rosie is in a coma - severe brain damage. When she finally awakes, Rosie screams Lillian is an imposter.
With the support of Rosie's boyfriend, they work to help her recovery.
Lillian also copes with motherhood - anxiety, obssesed with possible issues with her baby. Tense relationship with her husband.
So good!
