This book was so so important to read. I tend to struggle with reading non fiction books, as it can be hard to get through them. However this book was so important to read and vital to inform myself about the history of the conflict. To be honest, it makes me quite sad and horrified to see how Palestine has been failed on every level by the US, the other Arab countries, and its own leaders. I hope that, even when the US gov’t continues to ignore the horrors it is supporting, that the grassroots work that people in Palestine, the US, and elsewhere, is able to make an impact.
