When I first saw that this book was coming, I was really excited with high hopes. And when I first read it, I thought it was amazing. Then I realized , after a couple of rereads, that it wasn’t that great. There’s a lot of plot holes. Like, so many plot holes. I could clearly see the two different writing styles, and the second author wasn’t important. This would have been a lot better with just Rick Riordan. I also felt like they were trying to turn Nico into Percy with his humor, and Nico and Will felt like totally different people then in the main books. I would give this one star, but most of the Solangelo scenes were cute, so it’s 2. Nico and Will deserved a better solo book.
