These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner

These Broken Stars (Part one of Starbound trilogy)
4,25 Stars!
I've been meaning to read this book for a really long time, what made me want to read this book was the cover, I found the cover of this book very gorgeous, futuristic and eye-catching which made me curious about the plot of the book.
It started out good and intriguing but then halfway through the book it became a bit dull and there's a reason behind that. I thought it was boring to see two people trying to survive in a planet they've never been, but then things odd things started happen to them and it became fantastic, I couldn't and didn't want to stop, I was at the edge of my seat especially the last maybe 15 chapters.
This book was romantic, adventureous, mysterious and very scientific.
I think both Amie and Meagan did an amazingly beautiful job writing this book, they made the readers travel inner-outer space. The story is told alternately from the point of view of these two persons Tarver a war hero and Lilac the heiress to her father's huge industry which I found great. I really loved the short conversations with Tarver within the end of every chapter. He was sarcastic and witty with his answers and I had to smile again and again.
Both protagonists made progress with their character structuring especially Lilac. They were described fantasticly, altough there were moments for me where I find the premises a bit complicating, moments that I didn't know what was happening or where they were but eventually everything became understandable while the story was continueing.
Conclusion: I loved the idea of this novel, it was very interesting and original.. Something that I've never read, however the ending was kind of a cliffhanger to me, that's why there are two mor books for this series and I can't wait to read them both.
