Time Salvager by Wesley Chu

4.0

I was skeptical though the premise was intriguing and as I read, the characters became rather nicely done and the pacing so quick that I found myself half-way done in a blink. The story is SciFi without getting bogged down in specifics, with a decently logical approach to time-travel that was fun to read and consider beyond the book itself. Helps that the action keeps coming, with well done battles between mechanized people that are more like gladiators than soldiers. All in all, rather fun and interested in seeing where the second one goes.
