Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
3.0
I was drawn into this book by the cover, and couldn't resist, so I had to buy a copy. I loved the premise behind the book, and how terrifying a ghost Anna was. I did enjoy the book, but wasn't really a fan of the romance. I'm not a huge fan of romances in general, and this one fell a little flat for me.
The book ended in a way that surprised me. It felt like all the main characters became a ghost fighting team, and I guess that sets it up as a series, but I wish it had been more of a standalone book.
I wish the author had delved more into the voodoo, and not just made it something evil, with a stereotypical evil voodoo ghost.
I will probably read the next book, though.
