Definitely a 4.5 star from me.
When I finish a book I typically set it aside.
"Well, that was crap".
Or
"That was good"
Sometimes a book will put me in a temporary funk ... where no other book can hold my attention.
Tarryn's books tho.
I dissect them.
I read them sentence by sentence.
Everything means something.
There are no wasted words.
Bad Mommy.....I'll admit I went into with a bit of an attitude. People said it was better than Mud Vein! The Opportunist! Gah! That's craziness!!
I'll say this....it's the best writing Tarryn has ever done. Other Tarryn books hold my heart but this was pure enjoyment. Pure entertainment.
The various POVS was a lot of fun.
I don't want to give too much away. It's best to go in blind. Take the ride.
