Unfortunately I can’t rate this 5,000 stars. Sweet lord this book was so good!! From the characters to the magic to the world building, I loved everything. I can’t wait for book two in November!!

Liam 😭😭😭😭 I knew what Dain would do from the start, and I had a very strong suspicion about what Xaden was doing. Brenner was so obviously not dead to me from his first mention, but the way the author brought along each reveal felt like a triumph “I was right!!” Instead of disappointing like it so often is. She left enough clues to keep whispers in the back of my head without shoving the answer at me or making it too obvious. So we’ll done. But Liam 😭😭😭😭
