This book has been one of my favorites for the year. It is a perfect summer read and it has a great, almost whimsical vibe to it. There is a lot of ups and downs that relate to real life events. I really enjoyed the writing in this and although it may be silly I also appreciated the print and size of the book as well. I liked the mystery aspects of this book just as much as the day to day life parts. My only complaint would be how the author discussed parts with the children. She seemed to have a tendency that the times that the children were involved in the story they were almost always doing the same things or the mom was taking them somewhere or just putting them to bed. I think the author could have elaborated a little bit more on motherhood for the novel but overall I really enjoyed it.
