Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

5.0

the fifth installment of the beloved harry potter series brings about a much more mature tone to the lives of the golden trio and their loved ones. after the events of the goblet of fire, harry and his friends are in the wake of the wizarding world grappling with the possible return of voldemort. harry deals with a lot of disbelief and questions of his character, and we see him struggle with this as he tries to rally forces to prepare for the impending doom that will come from he-who-must-not-be-named. this installment introduces one of the most hated characters in the franchise with dolores umbridge, and the death of a very beloved character. the harry potter series continues to excel through growth as harry and his friends grow older and become more involved in the whirlwind that is hogwarts and the wizarding world as a whole.
