An enjoyable cosy mystery, especially the second half. As an ecological consultant myself, the ecology did make me feel like it could happen to me... making me worried I'm going to murdered on a bat survey! 
Loses a point because of the forced love triangle - I like Adam but James needs to just shut up imo.
