Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche

This was my first ever philosophy book, and I know people are shaking their fists at me and screaming "but you won't understand if you don't read *insert any and all the philosophers who inspired Nietzche*".  Well jokes on you because I did understand it, it really does not take a genius to figure out what Neitzche is trying to allude to - that there is no universal morality. In saying that, I do not wish to "recap" what Nietzche wrote as I fear the brutality of diehard Nietzche fans, regardless I will say that it is an important book for western philosophy, and I enjoyed it as much as a person can enjoy a philosophical piece of literature.
