Comparing this book to one of my favorites (The Power by Naomi Alderman) in the blurb is rather high praise so obviously I needed to pick it up. While it may be stretch to compare Murphy's work to Alderman's, this book was a surprisingly fun ride, tackling topics like women's rights, bodily autonomy, and the struggle between power, ambition, and recognition. Definitely can see this turn into a movie someday.
