I’m a sucker for a romance books, but this wasn’t it for me. This felt too much like a book justifying cheating in relationships. There were also definitely parts that dragged on and I skipped over. Too much unnecessary fluff.

I don’t like it when books lowkey advocate cheating in relationships. The whole time Hannah was in Paris felt like they were trying to come up with reasons when cheating would be okay. I understand that she was discovering more and more about herself as the day goes by, but it will never justify cheating. When she met with Si, I felt like she was too harsh on him; like she was just looking for a reason to break up with him. I understand she was looking for someone who understood her, but she didn’t even communicate properly that she wasn’t feeling heard. They didn’t have a proper discussion about it. It was just an argument that was brought up and never properly discussed among the two.
