The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher by Hilary Mantel

3.0

Mantel certainly has a distinctive style - sparing and unsympathetic. I think I enjoyed her style more in the Cromwell books which I loved, and I don't normally love historical fiction. But her intelligent, slightly snarky tone seems to suit Cromwell just right. I'll wait for the next book in that series to read more of Mantel.
