I love a good unrequited love story that has a HEA .
When Gage was 10 he was rescued by police officer Wyatt Brooks and since then Gage has held close to his heart but when he’s old enough and kisses Wyatt he advances are turned down leaving Gage feeling angry and unwanted .
Fast forward and Gage is back but not how he expected to be when he wakes up deep in the Bayou with an unresponsive girl thrown over him his only thought is to get her to hospital. The sheriff of the town has had it out for Gage and his family forever even after locking Gages brother Ben up it wasn’t enough and now he’s after Gage but Wyatt isn’t going to let anything happen on his watch.
This is my first book from Parker St. John and it will not be the last i loved everything about this book the characters (well most of them) and the plot which is set to carry on in the next book. I can’t wait for Mason and Silas but most of all i want Dominic’s book.
