I picked this up because it looked interesting and a unique storyline but it was very slow and hard to read, almost boring at some times, and did have to push through. I felt like the editing could’ve been better and would’ve preferred more dialogue. I enjoyed the main character, Aretha, and her thoughts and her journey, but a lot of the times it was sluggish and boring when I felt like it didn’t have to be.
