This books is well written but I did not like how bleak it is. A book full of pain and suffering with no let up from start to finish.
I'm not sure what the point was of this story. The message I received was, life is terrible, especially in Lagos, it is full of rapists, abusers, manipulators, and terrible people. I know this is not the truth, but the authors seems to really want hammer home this point which I found bizarre.
I found this book hard to get through and I ended up listened to it on 2x speed to get through it.
Do not recommend
