Five Go to Smuggler's Top by Enid Blyton

5.0

This might be the quintessential Famous Five book - smugglers and secret passageways and unexpected villains and Timmy saving the day, etc. It's certainly the one I remembered best, after the very first book, Five on a Treasure Island. If you read some of the Famous Five books, be sure to read this one!

My mother found these for me in elementary school when I'd forged my way through most of the rest of the children's books and needed something new. Looking to the UK for series was clever!
