Excellent end to the series, as Miranda (dead vampire watching from The Penultimate, sort of halfway to Heaven), werewolf Kieren, (Miranda's boyfriend), vampire with a soul Quincie, and Quincie's fallen guardian angel Zachary (and Miranda's boyfriend) all join in the fight to save Miranda's best friend Lucy from being taken by the devil. Set in a boarding school that is a front for the devil, the guys enroll undercover as students to find out what's going on, and end up trapped there, fighting hellhounds and a ghostly teacher. Will they succeed in saving Lucy and restoring Zachary's angel status? Or will the fiends of evil succeed?
