screaming, crying, shaking, throwing up

"We are just people, all of us the same. Flawed, fragile, stubborn, angry, happy. And life treats no one differently. We are born, and we live, and then we die. It's we do while we are here that counts. And if we can be called friend, then we are lucky indeed."

An epic high fantasy full with a focus on friendship and courage. While this was a dark series, with plenty of death and fighting, it still had that air of hope about it. The characters were affected and changed by the death and destruction around them but they never truly lost that spark. A truly enjoyable journey that I am glad I went on.
