What a great pairing!
I really loved Matt and Bailey together in both the OR and their growing relationship.
This book is definitely for those of us that enjoy a slow burn romance. (Hello ~70% in to the book hookup)
* Super serious intense doctor
* Skilled surgical assistant caring for a younger sister
* Romantic glances in the OR
Bailey is probably one of my favorite female characters I've read recently - she's smart, skilled at her job, and has a heart of gold. On top of all that, she's hilarious (I mean, 2 dozen shrimp in your purse?! That's my kind of lady) and human. She's put her personal life on hold to raise her sister and work on her career.
Matt is laser focused on his patients and his work, often forgetting to call his family or sleeping in his office. Bailey is his breathe of fresh air among the chaos of their jobs. (Even if she did post a picture in the break room after drawing devil horns)
I loved following them through their triumphs together in the OR and watching them fall in love with each other.
I'm excited to read the next book coming from R. S. Gray, Make Me Bad!
