This is the book where In my opinion the quality of Laymon's work takes an uptick...yes it's violent and sleazy but you knew that if you know anything about this particular sub genre of horror. It has a "twist" I say that because some of you may get it but I didn't but when it happened It was a moment of "wow"....and the antagonist well let's just say has become one of my most despised  I've ever read and that's a good thing that means there is some depth to the story...it does start out a little slow but I promise it's worth reading and the payoff is worth it if you stick around to the end!!!
