there’s just something about an alexis hall book that brings me great joy however

this still had that problem i have with hall’s books in general where TOO MUCH suddenly happens at the end of the book much of which is rushed and unresolved and in this case absolutely TOO dramatic for the tone of this story

. regardless, i loved lots about this including the good good slow burn that really only comes from a regency romance!!
