Lock In by John Scalzi

3.0

A nice SF murder mystery.

The environment it takes place in is this: fifteen years from now a new virus emerges. A small but significant number of those affected become paralyzed--locked in their bodies. A technology is developed to create external, remote-controlled bodies for those locked in. Also, some of those affected by the virus are "integrators", not locked in, but able to host the consciousness of a Lock-in, for a fee.

Some murders take place, and a locked-in FBI agent must solve them.

This book kind of reminded me of Asimov's robot mysteries. Nicely done.
