Oblomov by Ivan Goncharov, Galya Diment, Stephen Pearl

5.0

This is a beautiful book, and from bliss to sadness, it pulls the reader through a wide swath of emotions. I don't think Goncharov was truly aware at times how beautiful, yet heartbreaking, the character of Oblomov is to the reader and how he transcends 19th century imperial Russia. Recommend to anyone with an inkling of interest in Russian literature.
